Recycle the right way

Not all materials are recyclable, and sorting them correctly makes a big difference. Follow our guide to recycle smarter and maximize your impact.

01

Clean, rinse and dry

Ensure all containers are free of food, liquid, or grease. Rinse them with water and let them dry before recycling to prevent contamination.

02

Flatten boxes and cans

Flatten cardboard boxes and cartons and crush cans to save space in your recycling bag and help the process run more smoothly.

03

Place in clear recycling bag

Put all recyclables in a clear / transparent bag (available at places like Organico and Super Nosara). Bags should not exceed 15kgs.

04

Place bag on top of outside bin

Before 7am on collection day, place the bag on top of the outside bin where it’s easy for the recycling team to see and grab.
